Willow’s Locket is a true mother–daughter dream brought to life by Janet and Jen. Jen was born and raised right here in St. Charles County (a proud Francis Howell Central alum!) and has always loved anything creative, from music and performance to beautiful spaces and thoughtful details. She went on to earn degrees in Music and Marketing from Washington University in St. Louis and has owned Enchanted Events since 2020, creating magical moments for families all over the area. Janet moved to St. Charles for college and never left, raising her family here and spending her career as an occupational therapist before stepping into semi-retirement. These days, she’s happiest running marathons with her running buddies, spoiling her golden retriever, and supporting her daughter’s big ideas. Together, they’ve poured their hearts into Willow’s Locket, a place built on love, imagination, and the joy of celebrating life's little moments in a way that feels truly special.
A Deeper Dive
Long before Willow’s Locket became what it is today, it was simply a space, and Jennifer was actually the very first person to ever rent it. As someone who has always loved hosting events (and someone whose basement was already very full of décor bins), she was constantly searching for a place that felt special on its own. A space that was already beautiful. A space where families could walk in and instantly feel the magic, without the stress of hauling decorations in and out or spending money on things that would only be used once.

That first event planted a seed.

At the time, she was constantly styling events and parties, only to pack everything back up afterward and store it away “just in case.” She dreamed of a venue that was already beautifully designed, where the walls, rooms, and details did the heavy lifting, a space that felt special the moment you walked in.

What if families didn’t have to buy decorations they’d only use once? What if parents could show up knowing the space was already curated, cohesive, and camera-ready? What if the focus could stay on the celebration, and the memories, not the setup or cleanup?

As the idea grew, it became a family dream. Enter Janet, Jennifer’s mom, lifelong supporter, and calm force behind the scenes. Janet jumped in with her steady encouragement, practical support, and belief that if you’re going to do something, you should do it with intention and heart. Together, they reimagined the space room by room, thinking through every moment in a celebration and all the little things needed to make it special. From decanters for drinks, to lighters for birthday cakes, to the themes and decorating, and everything in between- no detail has been spared.

Willow’s Locket is the result of that thoughtfulness, a venue created by people who truly understand events from the inside out. It’s designed to feel warm, welcoming, and just a little magical, so families can celebrate in a space that feels as special as the moment itself.

I had my baby shower at Willow Locket and it was truly everything I dreamed of and more. The space is absolutely beautiful and created the perfect backdrop for such a special day. The owner was incredible to work with—so kind, helpful, and attentive to every detail, which made the whole experience stress-free and enjoyable. 5 stars doesn’t seem like enough to describe my experience at Willows Locket. I had my rehearsal dinner, wedding vow renewal ceremony, followed by cocktail hour, followed by reception all At Willows Locket. Each and every moment was so special. The venue speaks for itself. It’s beautiful, romantic, boho, classic, intimate, and quite literally perfect.
