A Deeper Dive

Founder, Angie Carron’s Story

Angie Carron has always had a gift for creating spaces that make people feel something—seen, inspired, and connected. Whether it’s a yoga class, a dinner under twinkling lights, or a vintage social house filled with laughter, she designs experiences that linger long after the moment ends.

Her unshakable faith began in a small factory town, where girls were raised to be homemakers. Angie dreamed of a life with limitless possibilities. She put herself through college, built a family she’s endlessly proud of, and began climbing the corporate ladder—shattering glass ceilings before realizing success without selfcare wasn’t truly success at all.

After facing severe burnout and anxiety in her thirties, she turned to yoga, meditation, and holistic healing. What started as a personal recovery became her life’s work. Angie opened OmTurtle Yoga, Spa & Café, a beloved St. Louis wellness community that grew into multiple locations, earning awards, media recognition, and the hearts of thousands.

When the pandemic forced her to close its doors, Angie was heartbroken—but not defeated. From that loss came new creativity: Shenanigans St. Louis, a joyful event company that went on to win Best of Missouri 2024 for Event Design. That spark evolved into Willow’s Locket, her current venture—a vintage-chic social house and event venue in historic Wentzville, where connection and celebration are once again at the heart of everything she creates.

Now, as Angie enters into her 50's, she yearns for yet a deeper connection and is quietly weaving together her golden thread. As a curator of belonging and maker of moments, soon she’ll introduce her new project—Back to Barefoot—a movement devoted to guiding women back to self. An invitation to return to the simple, sacred ground of being fully alive and imperfectly human. For fifty years, she's followed an invisible thread — from boardrooms to backyards, from burnout to barefoot — learning that every role, every risk, every failure and reinvention was never about starting over but an invitation back home. Back to self, Back to Barefoot.

Angie took our vision and made it come to life. She became my best friend, confidante, and go to person throughout the entire process and I’m truly going to miss working with her now that our event is over. Already thinking of other milestone opportunities to host a Shenanigan!
